Get started with Cue

Cue plays video across your Mac’s displays. Start with one video on your main display for free.

  1. Download Cue from the Mac App Store. Check the listing for current macOS requirements.
  2. Open Cue and drag a video onto a display tile, or choose File → Add Video.
  3. Check the video’s fit, audio and loop settings. Audio is off by default.
  4. Choose Play All. Press Escape to stop playback.

Multiple displays and saved setups

Pro adds multiple displays, queues, grid layouts and saved configurations. Connect your displays before assigning videos. Use File → Save to save a setup as a .cueset file.

Keep your original videos available when reopening a saved setup. Keeping the setup file alongside its videos makes it easier to move them together. Keep a copy before changing a working setup.

No sound or a missing screen?

Check the video’s audio setting and your Mac’s sound output. For a missing display, first check that macOS sees it in System Settings → Displays, then check its assignment in Cue.

Pro is a one-off Mac App Store purchase. To recover it, choose Restore purchases with the Apple Account that bought it. You don’t need a Coldflint account. Contact us if you’re still stuck.
