Fix a video link or local setup problem in Pluck

A video link won’t fetch

1. Check that you pasted the complete video link.
2. Open it in your browser and check that the video is still available.
3. Try another video you have permission to use. If that works, the problem may be specific to the original source or format.

Some sources and formats aren’t compatible. Pluck doesn’t bypass DRM, paywalls or access controls. A link working in a signed-in browser doesn’t guarantee that Pluck can download it.

Pluck asks for setup

Choose Set up Pluck when prompted, or open Settings for setup and updates. Pluck uses local tools to prepare video on your computer.

Repair is an optional reinstall action. Seeing it while the tools are healthy doesn’t mean something is broken.

A job still fails

Note the exact error and whether it happened during fetching, downloading or importing. Contact us with your Pluck, Premiere and operating system versions.

Please don’t send private media, passwords or licence keys. If the video link is sensitive, describe the problem without sharing the link.
